Set goals in your Life

Set a goal in your life

The most important thing about GOALS is having one !

Each day of life is a new opportunity, you need to grab it.

In my early days of childhood, I read somewhere that the time is money. Despite of reading and listening about the importance of time infinite number of times I could never realize how precious it is.
While appearing for my campus placement interviews, recruiters used to ask certain set of questions:
What are your plans?
What are your goals?
Where do you see yourself after 5 years down the line?

I never had any goal. I never had any plan. I was not driving my life. I was not utilizing my time. I had no direction. I was just passing time. Life was driving me.
I was satisfied and happy with whatever I scored, with whatever I achieve and whatever I get.

But now my desires have surpassed my feelings of self-satisfaction and I’m engrossed in the process of making my life worth living.
I have now realized the importance of goals, aims and desires.

An Ideal relationship.. Does it exist..??

Anthony Robbins

The quality of your life totally depends on the quality of your relationships.

An ideal relationship

Ha! It can’t be that easy can it? Well, it’s not. Sometimes, what we think we want is not what we actually want. If you could take a look at your current relationship, if you are in one, and your two past previous relationships, what would you see?

Take a pen and paper out and list the similarities between your present relationship and the past two. If you are currently single, do the same with your past relationships (at least two, preferably three). Can you see any patterns that are similar between them?

Have you been creating the same type of partner, over and over again? That is what I did, in the past. One of the techniques that worked really well for me was to sit down and write a fake personal ad. In that ad, I listed all of the qualities of the people that I had been attracting in my life. It wasn’t pretty.

When I saw all those negatives, I was prompted to turn around and re-frame the qualities. I wrote an ad about the opposite qualities. It was much better and in the end, that is what I went on to bring into my life. When you do this exercise, you see that you are attracting what you believe you deserve. Sometimes, “your type” and what you think you wanted, are not for your higher good.

How can I stop time?

When we are asked the reason for the low productivity or bad results we are loaded with number of reasons. But one of the most common answer is always the lack of Time. So, most often I think about some ways to stop the time, make everything stand still and work hard in the meanwhile to get along with the pace of time. I wish.. 🙂

How can I stop time?

But now I can stop the time. Yes I can. And you all too. Thanks to Einstein. We have heard stories that Einstein was the only one who could invent the time machine but he could not. But his theories are still out there. One of his such theory is General Relativity. General relativity generalises special relativity and Newton’s law of universal gravitation, providing a unified description of gravity as a geometric property of space and time, or spacetime. The term relativity means that all uniform motion is relative, and that there is no absolute and well-defined state of rest (no privileged reference frames)—from mechanics to all the laws of physics, including both the laws of mechanics and of electrodynamics, whatever they may be. Time is also considered as one of the dimensions and its a moving identity too. So, it has relativity too. Perform a basic experiment which is described below.

Look for a clock with a very smooth sweeping second hand. The one on your wall might not work. It’s second strikes a significant change in the distance. Look for a clock like on this link: . If it appears relatively smooth, it will still work, you’ll be able to factor out what you are controlling.

After looking at the second hand for a bit, look off to the side of the clock, outside of the box, and about 15 to 20 minutes ahead of the second hand. You should still be able to see the second hand, but you won’t be looking directly at it. Now just relax and see if you can stop the second hand. If it starts catching up to the point you are looking at, jump ahead to another spot about 20 minutes ahead. With very little practice you are extremely likely to make a most remarkable discovery. You can stop time. Perhaps at first for only a second or two, but with practice, you’ll be able to freeze it for longer. If you can’t get it right away, try playing with your focus point, move it further away or closer to the frame of the clock. Or look at one of the hour markers on the clock about 20 to 30 minutes ahead. After you get it, try counting internally. The count you reach is the number of discrete thought processes you performed in zero clock time.

Once you’ve accomplished this amazing feat, what does it mean? It means if we are moving (rolling our eyes) with a constant speed and look ahead of the time constantly we will start moving parallel to the time and relatively it will look as if we have ceased the moment. We can be in that moment for an infinite duration.

In order to be more productive – the things that you really want to do – you have to stop using time management. You have to stop being ruled by time and have to start being ruled by tasks instead. That’s the only way you can really get ahead and get to the important things on your lists. Being ruled by time leaves you dealing with items of urgency. Being ruled by task allows you to deal with items of importance.

Task management and time management are very different. Knowing what you have to do and knowing how much time you have to do what it is you have to do require different mentalities. You need to learn how to manage your tasks first, then you’ll be in a far better position to manage your time.

In fact, by doing the former you may not have to do much of the latter.

So stop worrying about due dates and start making every date a “do date”. Stop tracking your time spent and start tracking what you do in the time you have. Pay more attention to the “what” and less attention to the “when”. That’s how you stop time in its tracks.

And it’s also how you start moving more efficiently and effectively down the right track.

What am I doing here in this f***ing world?

I believe everyone must have given this thought to themselves that what the hell they are doing in this chaotic world? Does your presence mean anything? Will your absence ever matter to this world? Is your being here helping to the existing world in some way or the other?
What am I doing in this fucking world?

If your answer is assertive, you get a bit relaxed, and if your answer is negative, I believe you will eventually start heading towards sadness and depression.

But from a point where I see, the real answer would be always assertive. These questions are quite obvious in one’s mind. This whole universe is pretty complicated to understand. Consider a life cycle, each and everything, living or non-living has a life cycle. A star born in some galaxy out there in the space, later with the passing billions of years eventually turns into a black hole. Planets and satellites have life-cycles too. If one gives a close look on the surroundings, our cars, bikes, television, refrigerator, etc have a life-process. Evolution is not only restricted to us ‘Humans’. We are not the only ones who are transforming ourselves, we are transforming the world, and we are heading towards a direction where we will be making significant changes to the universe. Sun’s gravity allows the planets to revolve around it in specific trajectories. Earth’s natural satellite MOON causes waves and tides in the oceans. In the world of astronomy, even the slightest change in the planet’s motion affects the man’s fate and his actions. Similarly, even a man’s action causes a phenomenon which affects the whole universe. Yes, may be a micro affect, but it affects and that is what matters.

According to the Newton’s law each and every action has a reaction. Then, that reaction is again an action for some other reaction and so on. This is all sequential a sequential chain. A micro event may lead to a minor event which in turn triggers a major event which fires a mega event. This is how it takes place. One man doesn’t change a thing but he can ignite a spark which can lead to a massive fire.

So, if you are still thinking what you are contributing to this world, just think you are in a life process where in you have to do such actions which bring out the positive outcomes. The actions should contribute to the evolution not the devolution. Your absence will matter. You have been given this life to make this world a better place to live in.

Remember, Life Process is better than life. The process of getting success is always better than success itself.

Adna Sipahi

Following poem is one of my decent attempts in Hindi poetry.

Hu main kaun, sochta hu main
karta hu kaam kya aur kyun, boojhta hu main..
Chaha kya maine aur chahunga main kya,
paaya jo chaha maine, usse bhi kya..

fans gaya hu kaise is jeevan kaal mien..?
mukti do is moh maaya k bandhan se,
nikalo mujhe is maayajaal se..

har jeev ko apne is aadi aur ant ka sampoorntah gyaan hai,
fir bhi ye adna sipahi laga pada hai, ladai mien is poore bramhaand se..

karm karo, fal ki chinta mat karo, Gita deti ye gyan hai..
kitni taakate hain, kitne naam hain? kya ye bas ishu, buddha, jaini, sai, allah aur bhagwaan hain?
Ye Adna sipahi sab janta hai.. sab insaan hain.. insaan insaan hain…

Aye adna sipahi sambhal ja tu, kuch ban ja tu..

My mouse hunt.. eeehhhh

I m fed up of this mouse..
He comes to my place,..
he climbs up the terrace..
I blocked his way by stuffing the jeans below the door,..
but that asshole entered in my room by tearing my liverpool jeans and making a big bore..

He should not hide,
I realized..
I moved my bed..
I created the gap..
I have a proper kitchen, I do the cleaning myself and I make my own food..
I went home in Diwali holidays and returned with a mouse catching tool..

After diwali..
I went to office after fixing the trap..
I came back late night, looked at trap,..
felt sad,..
then I opened up my almirah for some stuff.. Was shocked, he jumped out on me and attacked…

I shouted with anger..
Now this is war I called the little stranger..
He ran away far, down the stairs..
I was left with my almirah, filled with eeeeehhh mouse shit in the corners…

Why my almirah was stinking, now I understood..
I called my dhobhi to wash all my clothes at whatever price, but he should…
ThankGod I didn’t unpack my bag which had the winter clothes..
He tore the laptop charging wire, he ate my Lotus sunscreen lotion, yuck he spoiled my Tata photon too..

Change in life…

Hi friends,

This blog of mine is focused on my experience with my new roomies. It’s been a month and I like this place.

One of my room-mate is an entrepreneur, who has opened his own company recently. He is my cousin’s friend. And another room-mate is passed out from IMT-Ghaziabad. He has been offered a package of 18lacs per annum from Oracle and had to shift to Australia. He is not willing to go to Australia and decided to open up his own IT Company. I would designate them as first roomy and second roomy respectively.

I would like to share their daily routine.

Roomy one is a highly ambitious guy. He is intelligent and highly dedicated towards his work and progress of the company. He wakes up daily around 8am and get ready for office. He leaves for office by 9:30am. Then come back to room by 7pm in the night. He is a foodie and likes to order from outside very frequently. He is mostly on calls and surf the internet all the time. We have a Nepali servant who is a cook as well as cleaner. Roomy one handles him so efficiently. He has a commanding voice and orders the servant to get his things done. To my amazement, the servant doesn’t usually listen to everyone but when the first roomy ask him to do anything he swiftly do his entire tasks. I am a good fan of his knowledge. I think he will be a good manager.

Roomy two on the other hand was a total stranger to me.  I was really happy to meet him and really liked him. He wakes up at around 8am in the morning.  He has no job but he is still punctual for the timings. He gets ready on time and does his breakfast unlike the roomy one who used to skip the breakfast most of the times. He and some of his friends have decided to open up the IT Company and working on some antivirus product.  He is systematic for everything and quite a thinker. He speaks less. I feel he doesn’t have the quality to gel with the people. And the reason for that is, he judges everyone. I know everybody judge everyone in some way or the other.  He does it too much. He doesn’t allow the other person to open up and throws sarcasm all the time. May be that’s due to the time he spends all alone in the room all day long. He doesn’t allow us to watch TV after 11pm or 11:30pm and keeps on pestering us to switch off the TV. He doesn’t like us to increase the volume of television. I can hardly listen anything on TV when he has the remote in his hands. He doesn’t eat much; I already figured that out by his size when we met for the first time.
